We led integrated marketing communications for an emerging health information technology provider raise awareness of its data anonymization services and software for organizations in the healthcare and consumer industries. We helped raise the company’s profile in the U.S. among key customer target audiences, industry organizations, policymakers, analysts/investors and other third-party stakeholders. Our work successfully positioned the company for acquisition by one of the world’s leading healthcare data analytics companies.

We led corporate communications planning, strategy and campaign execution for a statewide collaboration of hospitals, physicians, nurses, health insurers, consumers, business and academia working together to significantly improve health care through a wide range of quality improvement and health IT initiatives. We developed a series of integrated marketing communications campaigns that included web, video, and print and electronic collateral to effectively raise awareness, brand and market initiatives to key stakeholders, build partnerships, secure passage of groundbreaking legislation and help attract federal funding.

Zaiser Motors has developed the world’s first “electrocycle,” an electric motorcycle designed as an electric vehicle from the ground up. To support initial fundraising, SMG secured more than 100 pieces of coverage in just a few months in outlets including Maxim, Forbes, Motorrad and a number of vertical outlets covering clean energy and electric vehicles. The campaign was named the best Tech Campaign of the Year by PR Daily.

SMG has helped a number of cannabis companies tell their story and also works with organizations that serve the cannabis industry with specialized services required for this fast-growing, highly regulated industry.

Super Bowl Activation

Recently led a media outreach program for a first-time Super Bowl advertiser, a FinTech company. Provided strategic consultation to maximize investment and return, including securing exclusive national television premiere of the ad which drove exposure and engagement to the company’s website and social media.

Currently producing a weekly podcast (audio & video) for a non-profit organization. In 2021, the podcast was ranked #1 in its category. The podcast is used to drive engagement to the organization website, develop new strategic partners and increase donations – all of which increased exponentially.

Wholesale

Leading an effort inside a 116-year-old family-owned hardware wholesaler with 2600 dealers and $250MM in revenue to completely overhaul its marketing and advertising functions and rebrand the company.

Banking

Recently rebranded a 100-year-old bank and developed its multi-channel advertising campaign, including the rebranding of an acquisition in another market. The success of the campaign garnered the attention of a friendly competitor, who then suggested a merger that would be a win-win for both banks. The merger was a success and created a multiplied value for all shareholders.

Consumer and Luxury Products

Currently working with a golf apparel company to launch a complementary premium vodka brand that will offer symbiotic branding opportunities in sports, luxury, and hospitality markets.

Healthcare

For the last two years we have been at the center of Pennsylvania’s COVID Mitigation and vaccine hesitancy messaging targeting communities of color. The impactful multimedia campaigns used audience lifestyle data to target concerns of citizens and behaviors adoption opportunities. Campaign analytics documented our mitigation messages had the highest performance of demographically target campaigns across Pennsylvania. Our follow up vaccine hesitancy campaign work included multimedia messaging and boots on the ground to deliver education and access to vaccines.

As the pandemic changes the landscape of our communities, SMG Philadelphia’s core research services offer insights into the new opportunities and challenges organizations and brands face. SMG Philadelphia provides primary research through a variety of tools to inform and resource organizations as they navigate our new world. Transportation, infrastructure, financial services and government represent some of the industry sectors our research supports.

National Association Rebranding

We were recently contracted to implement a comprehensive brand architecture assignment for a national association. The association’s membership, programming, and education offerings have grown over the years, as have the number of corresponding sub-brand identities and visual marks. This proliferation occurred with minimal strategic direction for maintaining brand cohesiveness, resulting in widely varying logotypes, identity presentations, and familial themes—all of which the association seeks to address through its engagement with this contract.

University Student Recruiting

A major university has agreed to extend its long-running engagement with the agency for a refreshed brand campaign. The assignment will focus on supporting undergraduate admissions and outreach aimed at rising juniors and seniors in high school and transfer students from surrounding community colleges interested in STEM education and careers. The scope of the branding program will include development of a new campaign theme line and a branded look-and-feel, which will be the creative foundation for direct mail, email, geofencing, retargeting, video production, and collateral materials.

Healthcare Website Redevelopment

A national healthcare organization awarded us a contract to redevelop the organization’s two primary website properties. The two sites are critically important destinations for education, advocacy, and other resources for millions of families. The goal is to redevelop these properties to become even more valuable, engaging, and accessible for their audiences.Initially we will conduct a discovery effort among board members, staff, regional and local chapter leaders, and consumer members to gain a thorough understanding of current perceptions surrounding the brands and website user experiences. These insights will help inform high-level messaging, navigation, and site design.

Environment

Illinois American Water, Woodridge, Illinois. Serves as external affairs consultant covering media requests and other projects for the Chicago Metro area. Also, provides governmental consulting on an eminent domain lawsuit filed by five municipalities.

Local Government

Thornton Township. Served as public relations consultant for largest township in the State of Illinois. Services included assisting with promotion of programs for seniors, youth, disability services and more to approximately 185,000 residents.

Education

Illinois Vision 20/20 Initiative. Served as the Campaign Manager for the Illinois Vision 20/20 initiative designed and sponsored by the largest education associations in Illinois. Organized the Chicago and suburban media rollout and has assisted with other downstate media outlets as well. Plays an on-going role in coordinating the group’s efforts as directed by the Alliance Executives.

Politics

Rosemaria has been involved in campaigns large and small at a local, township, county and state, and federal level for over three decades. She has a winning record led by her ability to run and manage campaigns on both sides of the aisle and non-partisan. Duties include organizing all aspects of the campaign, formulating and developing campaign policies and strategies, designing mailers, brochures and other materials, and preparing candidates for public appearances including debates and forums.
